Peggy Sue

Peggy Sue are London-via-Brighton duo Rosa Slade and Katy Young. The band have just released their fourth album 'Vices' – a collection of melancholy optimism inspired by all the bad things that feel good. Peggy Sue's sound borrows in equal parts from the perfectly-constructed pop songs of the 1960s and the indie-surf-garage guitar of bands like Breeders and La Luz.

Peggy Sue have previously released three albums on Wichita Recordings and Yep Roc (US), as well as 'Peggy Sue play the Songs of Scorpio Rising', a cover album inspired by the soundtrack of Kenneth Anger's cult short film. They have toured with Jack White, Local Natives, First Aid Kit and The Maccabees.
